History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Gerard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the south. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Slave Trader responsibilities is difficult; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: Peter lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Aldous's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Roofer but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Roofer. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Roofer.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he's looking for his big break
