Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Lance was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Mercenary arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A freak accident while working with his Junk Dealer mother left him crippled. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
