History: Born to a Roofer, his father struggled to pay the bills. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He's also a talented Roofer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. The war was a terrible time for him, and Hunter does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
