History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. A freak accident while working with his Gardener mother left him crippled. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Farmer for the past few years.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Farmer and was forced into it by his family; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bertram fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
