History: Born to a Bather, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Roofer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. After coming to the age of reason, Bertram took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Born in the west to a Painter, Hunter learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Painter.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

History: Gomory was born the youngest of three triplets. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
