History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Architect work with an outfit from a few towns over. Architect work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He's also a talented Sculptor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Shane lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Hugh lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and many gnolls want him driven away

Description: This man stands a little under 6'5" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He keeps his long brown hair kept up in a rat tail. His green eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Heward hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Miner. He has worked as a Miner like his mother before him.
