Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Layabout. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He worked as a nervous Slave Trader and found it very stressful. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Slave Trader for hire.

Description: An older man who is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright brown and green, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems, he is not a threatening figure. He has a long blonde beard with little hanging trinkets. His brown eyes peer out from beneath his wide-brimmed brown hat.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gerard grew up listening to his father's many stories. When Gerard reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
