History: The child of a Barkeep, who enjoyed hunting, Norman was taken on many hunting expeditions. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Bookbinder but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Alexandre was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Alexandre was born on a far eastern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Bookbinder. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Anselm was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He worked as a nervous Barkeep and found it very stressful. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Barkeep.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and he has money and likes to spend it

History: Miles was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature hand crossbow.
