History: Arnold hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Arnold fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and many dire rats want him driven away

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Fletcher responsibilities is difficult; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: This late middle aged man wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his sai with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt and is in decent physical shape. His blonde hair is smooth and relatively long. His amber eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: The child of a Bricklayer, who enjoyed hunting, Robert was taken on many hunting expeditions. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and he wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away
