Description: This slender man stands about 6'3". He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He keeps his long white hair kept up in a rat tail. This hazel eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Hugh was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Apothecary hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He has all his life been fascinated with singing.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and retire the richest man in the north

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents enrolled him in a Fighter school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.
