Description: This northern man is abnormally tall. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his sword with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His silver hair and beard is wavy and long. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: He wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His red hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He has green eyes.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Charles was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Charles was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Revenge; and a deep hatred of illithids

Description: He is well dressed, constantly wearing a violet suit, grey shirt, and black tie, and he perpetually has his sai ready. His golden hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His violet eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He bought a sai and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he's repulsed by the pc

Description: He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: Anselm hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Anselm was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Description: This man wears many layers of old clothing at all times. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. He wears a small hat to cover his moderate length red hair. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are brown.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Scribe. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and balancing his hectic life and new scribe responsibilities is difficult
