He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Lance fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Gomory isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his music with anyone who is interested.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His first spouse was a Soapmaker, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Soapmaker they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Stableman, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes
