History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His first spouse was a Sailor, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: John lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

His mother taught him the rudiments of the Bookbinder arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
