History: Miles hails from a village terrorized by giants. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Miles was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: He wants revenge against giants; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Bernard was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
