Jocelyn took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up mace and armor he uses now. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: Theodoric wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He hates goblins. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
