One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He came across an abandoned tomb where he found a relic that called out to him. After picking it up he was cursed by a spirit.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He sports a flattop hair cut. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Don liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Don fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion
