Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Unemployed born in the past three hundred years. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He got into the Unemployed business at a young age. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Adelard was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: Expand his business; and balancing his hectic life and new unemployed responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: Geoffrey was born the youngest of three triplets. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Painter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Balimaar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
