History: William lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs.

History: Born in the north to a Guard, Roger learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He became a Guard soon after.
