History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He became a Map Maker soon after.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing singing.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and he's looking for his big break

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
