History: The child of a Barrister, who enjoyed hunting, Cory was taken on many hunting expeditions. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Roland alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
