History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Godfrey's homeland. Godfrey decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
