History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, John was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Alex was born on a far eastern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Miner. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.
