History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Balimaar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Guard. History: Gifted from a young age, Gilbert studied abroad. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was granted druidic powers by his dying brother.

He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: Reynard hails from a village terrorized by drow. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
