Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He comes from a rich western family. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He now mingles about in high society.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He worked as a nervous Doctor and found it very stressful. He now owns his own business.
