History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: Hugh speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Courier they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Blacksmith, and he later adopted a second son.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Masseuse hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
