History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Ernest hails from a village terrorized by goblins. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Ernest alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
