His mother taught him the rudiments of the Barrister arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Conrad alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
