Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears a robe, a symbol of his god around his neck, and a scimitar on his belt. His hair, while still mostly silver, has prominent grey streaks. His eyes are blue and beady.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents enrolled him in a Adept school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Adelard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He prefers to wear green clothing when he does not wear armor. His auburn hair, when down, is lengthy. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, he put together a working one.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 5'11". He dresses well, wearing red shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time, and his gloved hand is found clutching a whip. His auburn hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. This amber eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: This malnourished man wears bulky blue painted plate armor. His silver hair is braided into rings. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep brown.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His long chestnut hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Dustin hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: Dustin was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he is unsatisfied with his job
