Lance Quinton, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and wears grey painted combat armor at almost all times. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His hair is long and black with streaks of chestnut, and is pulled back with small grey clips. His beard is chestnut, braided, and well cared for. His gray eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. The war was a terrible time for him, and Lance does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Lance was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Kyle Yeardley, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. He has styled his brown hair well, parting it to the right. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Kyle grew up listening to his father's many stories. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Kyle took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up longbow and armor he uses now. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
