Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Nicholas never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Now he works as a poetry tutor during his time off.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Randal grew up listening to his mother's many stories. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To end his boredom.
