He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Shane was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Shane took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up quarterstaff and armor he uses now. He struck the Server job and began his own company from there.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Gifted from a young age, Gerald studied abroad. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Herbalist.

Motivation: To be a Stableman again.
