History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: Diggory hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He takes great joy in being the best Baker in town.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Baker. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Gilbert isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Gilbert was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Personality: This man loves dancing and to teach people dancing more than just about anything. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered dancing. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he is greedy
