Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Through the years after Ernest was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Ernest's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He tends to his Hunter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. The war was a terrible time for him, and Shane does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He got into the Scribe business at a young age. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Scribe.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and expand his business

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Hubert was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Hubert was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
