Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
