History: Alex was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He is a Map Maker first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his dancing dream.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Brewer for hire.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Dean alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Dean was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it
