Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy silver hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.
History: Charles was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His childhood dream was to be a Bather, but he was a colossal failure. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Charles fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: An older man who wears black robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a quarterstaff, but if one is not available he will default to his monstrous two handed axe, he is not a threatening figure. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy silver hair. His violet eyes are slightly larger than normal.
Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. Henry enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. His golden hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.
Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Gunter was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and he feels threatened by others

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.
History: He is a Metallic Dragon in disguise. Kody was born on a far southern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Roofer. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away

Description: This northern man is abnormally tall. He wears yellow trousers with green and yellow striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His moppish white hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His half smiles and violet eyes are beguiling and draw you in.
Personality: Lance hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.
History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Lance was born on a far northern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Engraver. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bastard sword.
Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
