History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting dire rats, the young Jocelyn began to lead the lost caravan. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Cook.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: Bertram hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Bertram was horrified and prayed that his father was alright.
