History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Heward was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright white and grey, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He has no hair. He has gleaming, smiling gray eyes.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Guard.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: He is lean but muscular and has a large tan mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his white robe. He is bald on top and has large black tufts of hair around his ears. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His first spouse was a Merchant, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: He sports blue clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. He carries with him a set of falchions, each one with a sapphire on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His hair is white and curly. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hubert grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He found a children's book about a Human Wizard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and he wants to get laid
