Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bernard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and sabotage a competitor

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears a black tunic with yellow highlights, and long blue pants that bunch up around his shoes. His auburn hair is smooth and relatively long. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his brown eyes.
Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is obsessed with his god.
History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: He has a crush on the local Spice Merchant; and he's in love

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He has a large brown mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his blue robe. His hair is golden and very short. His green eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.
Personality: Gomory is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he feels threatened by others

Personality: He is fixated on the number 28. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.
History: Born to a Marshal, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and retire the richest man in the east

Description: This man wears a tan costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on his torso. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. His white hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a skull scrunchie. His hazel eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.
History: The child of a Bather, who enjoyed hunting, Adelard was taken on many hunting expeditions. Adelard liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has never given up on his poetry dream.
Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and regain custody of his daughter
