He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Charles was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sailor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Gifted from a young age, Reynard studied abroad. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and retire the richest man in the north

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. Anselm's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Anselm and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has achieved small success as a Sellsword.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and sabotage a competitor
