Description: Runty and weak-looking, he wears dark leathers with embroidery. His small hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His eyes are likewise blue. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.
Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.
History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Body Guard hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and many illithids want him driven away

Description: 5'5" and muscular, this eastern man wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). His silver hair and beard is wavy and long. His brown eyes peer out from beneath his small brown hat.
Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is afraid of women and trembles around them
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Anselm was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and many illithids want him driven away

Description: This man wears suspenders and brown workpants. His shirt is black, and he wears a heavy brown leather apron most of the time. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized opal on his left hand. He wears his black hair up. His green eyes are slightly larger than normal.
Personality: John is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.
History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His parents enrolled him in a Monk school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Description: A pudgy man standing about 6'3" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep blue leather and dull white iron scale mail. His white hair is unkempt and raggedy. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Bernard is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: Bernard was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and retire the richest man in the east
