History: Miles lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Miles liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born in the west to a Merchant, Conrad learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His childhood dream was to be a Tailor, but he was a colossal failure. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. With bright auburn hair and a scraggly beard. His hazel eyes peer out from beneath his broad violet hat.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Gerard was born on a far northern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Sage. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Hunter was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warrior, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warrior in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Weaver hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
