Personality: John is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He uses divination through singing.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. John fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: Standing 5'11", this man is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. His auburn hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a dagger scrunchie. His skin is flawless and his violet eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: Gifted from a young age, Gerard studied abroad. Gerard liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. After a long history of fighting, Gerard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: He was born into a rich family. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Masseuse. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: He wears baggy black pantaloons and a pastel scarf, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'7" when asserting himself. His moppish red hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Peter hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. At a young age his father died while driving off some dire rats. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in hand crossbow use. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and a deep hatred of dire rats

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is dark but he possesses many tan ritualistic tattoos. He dresses in white turtlenecks beneath a tan coat with black slacks. His long silver hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady brown eyes.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing music.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
