Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He is afraid of women and trembles around them
History: John hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving John alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and revenge

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.
History: He was born in the west. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He struck the Gardener job and began his own company from there.
Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and sabotage a competitor

Description: He dresses in red turtlenecks beneath a white coat with green slacks. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His golden hair is heavily combed to the left. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.
History: Clerebold lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Bookbinder and was forced into it by his family; and wants to raise his children well

Description: The light-skinned man stands 6'0" and is wearing a tight white one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape. His chestnut hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.
History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Frederick was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Frederick's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Gerard's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gerard grew up listening to his father's many stories. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
