History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He struck the Blacksmith job and began his own company from there.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Roland alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and a deep hatred of illithids

History: Kyle was born the youngest of three triplets. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sage hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor.
