History: Roland hails from a village terrorized by drow. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Roland took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up trident and armor he uses now. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His chestnut hair, when down, is lengthy. His eyes are blue and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Balimaar was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

History: Bertram was born the youngest of three triplets. His first spouse was a Courier, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
