History: Thomas was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Barber hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Shane never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Simon was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Simon was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.
