Miles Rutherford, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: Runty and weak-looking, he wears many layers of old clothing at all times. He has done his best to style his red hair to look like a famous performer. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Cleric in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. During his travels, Miles and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Miles discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Miles fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
