Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Adam was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

History: Born to a Sage, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A deep hatred of drow; and revenge

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He has a large blue mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his grey robe. His chestnut hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He has brown eyes.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Hubert was born the youngest of three triplets. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Roofer. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and wants to raise his children well

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
