Description: This eastern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He usually wears his blue robe and has his pickaxe always slung over his shoulder. He has golden hair. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Bertram hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Bertram alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
